NHSC Summer Social NHSC are hosting a summer social in Southwark Park on Sunday 28th August for members, friends and family. If you would like to join us, come along! Bring your own picnic, something to sit on, and any snacks you would like to share.

The Big Sing
A huge thank you to Jenny Deacon and Sweet Charity Choir for inviting NHSC members to be part of this year's Big Sing! We had a fantastic time singing as part of this super choir, recording five songs are raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK.
Rehearsal Update
2022 Rehearsal Dates NHSC in-person rehearsals restarted on Sunday 27th February, and we continue to have fantastic sessions with our acting Choir Director, Alice Morgan! Alice is an experienced MD who is running our rehearsals while Jenny Deacon is on tour with Six The Musical. In the meantime, online resources continue to be available for our members, produced by Jenny and in collaboration with our sister choir Sweet Charity Choir Online.
Our upcoming in-person rehearsals will be held on the following dates at St Wilfrid’s Church Hall, 97 Lorrimore Road, London, SE17 3LZ: 15:45-19:00 on Sunday 11th September 15:45-19:00 on Sunday 9th October 15:45-19:00 on Sunday 13th November The venue is for 100 people, so plenty of room for distancing, and is an accessible venue with its own kitchen. The nearest tube stations are Kennington and Oval (Northern Line), and the nearest overground is Vaxhall Station. There is also free parking outside the venue on Sundays and it is not in the Congestion Zone. For the safety and wellbeing of all our members, we recommend anyone attending rehearsals takes a lateral flow test on the day of the session. The first month is free for new members as a "taster session", so please get in touch if you would like to join us for one of our in-person rehearsals. This offer is open to former members and anyone who did a taster session before September 2021.
Super Heroes
Our charity single Super Heroes is available on all major platforms, and still raising funds for our two wonderful charities the Healthcare Workers' Foundation and the Intensive Care Society. We are very close to the target on our Just Giving fundraiser, so please support by donating or sharing.

Particular thanks to our wonderful choir director, Jenny Deacon, and to her lovely partner George Say, for keeping us singing together during lockdown and beyond.
